Days swiftly come and go
I'm dreaming of her
She's seeing other guys
Emotions they stir
The sun is gone
The nights are long
And I am left while the tears fall
I just graduated from NTU school of materials and engineering last year, and had an knee ligament operation immediately following my final semester papers. After recuperating for a few weeks, I joined Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®).
I did not have any direct sales experience before this but was heavily involved in student organisations for most of my university days, holding the portfolio of business manager for various charity or student events.
I was also playing squash for the NTU squash team until my ligament injury.
I was introduced to my manager by a friend over dinner, and was introduced to the idea of being a financial consultant when I mentioned that I was recovering from my ligament injury and was looking for a job not related to engineering.
I was looking for a job which was more dynamic and people orientated, which was markedly different from my training as an engineer. And as a fresh graduate this was the best time to try out this industry which promised to be more interesting then what an engineering career could offer me.
I feel Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) is a very disciplined organisation which values an organized and structured system to motivate its agents to strive and do their best. It also tries to provide support for newer agents by grouping and providing technical support and emotional support in street prospecting and activities, as well as motivation by various means.
